Hollywood tdai Restaurant in Los Angeles

This thai restaurant has a good food everything we ate was delicious but the service was horrible. We waited more the hour for our food.

I recently tried this place. It was my first time having Thai food and I have to say the food is nothing like what I'm used to BUT I found it to be delicious and would come back here no doubt.

Despite what's going on lately with restaurants struggling Hoy-ka is providing free meals for the community and it looks like they'll be doing it for the foreseeable future. Giving back even when they're in crisis is amazing. I'll be ordering from them when I'm in the mood for Thai food.

Literally everything I have ever ordered from this place is the best I’ve ever had that specific item. The staff are so friendly and the one woman always treats everyone that walks into her establishment as if they were a family member. Multiple experiences going in taking out and delivering have proven time and time again the consistent quality that will make me a lifetime customer as long as I am living in this area.

Authentic yummy thai food.

5 for the food. 1 for the music.I look around the restaurant and see a mixed crowd of people. There's white people, hispanic ppl, black ppl, asian ppl, etc. A diverse background of people typical of a cosmopolitan city like LA. My ears hear people conversing in english..........the restaurant serves thai food.........but they were playing armenian music, loud, including armenian rap... why?!?!?Just turn on Spotify and play some hip hop, u kno...some mainstream music we listen to in America. Thai music would've also been cool, since it's a Thai restaurant.

This place had terrible customer service (almost nonexistent). They overcharged me on the bill. I forgot my sweater and phoned them several hours later. I was told they found it. I came to pick it up a few days later and they couldn’t find it. Well, to whoever is wearing my sweater now I hope you’re warm and also that you suffer upset stomach from the mediocre food at this nasty place.

Came here since it was open late, ordered their squid salad, menu says it’s $11.95 then when I pay he says it’s $13.95. Please update your menu so people don’t get ripped off by your false advertisement

thai food... so tasty. honestly my favorite evening place. had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again. prices were reasonable.

An unassuming Thai restaurant with great food. We really enjoyed our meal.

Servers were cordial, and the food was great. Big portions so be sure to order things everyone is interested in sharing. They got busy in my visit and kind of forgot about my table hence the 4 stars.

Had the pad prik king, it was delicious. Service was good. Friendly staff. I'll definitely be back to try different dishes and check out the bar.

The food is great, even if is not in the menu, they cook for me and they do it according to my taste, the service is outstanding. This my favorite Thai restaurant in California.

This is one of my favorites places for Thai food, the service and staff the best, the valet parking super nice and professional, the place is wide and comfortable with the great selections of seafood, pasta, and soups where make you enjoy every single bite.

I didn't like this restaurant. This is Not Thai restaurant. I ordered chicken heaven and it was so dry, I wasn't able to chew it. And papai salad was actually cabbage salad and the cook even didn't bother to cut it well (picture below). I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars because (after arguing with the waiter) I didn't have to pay for the food I couldn't eat. This is actually my first time I had to argue with the waiter about quality of the food. She said that if I would not pay for the food, she will have to pay. I felt very sorry for her. But, we all work for our money and I believe we should spend our money for things that we like and worth spending money for. To the waiter, I wish you will find a better job in a better place. It's unexpected that the owner asks you to pay for the food that customers didn't like. It must be the responsibility of the cook to make a good quality food.

AMAZING Thai food!! We went there twice during a recent visit to LA! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating to our 2 toddlers! We will definitely be back!

I prefer this restaurant very much. It has a special ambiance. The kitcen is marvelous. the service is dynamic and the personel is professional. The pay is honest. profoundly recommend.

the place was not busy and the cashier was really nice to give us an extra soup meanwhile the menu only gives one for each meal. very nice people and the chicken was really tasty and natural tasting and the soup was excellent very fragrant and the cilantro really brought out a spring feel to it even it was winter time. very nice place to have a seat and enjoy a meal.

Great food and exciting atmosphere parking is rough but the food makes up for it. They have a pretty friendly staff I will certainly be coming back

I enjoy eating at Hollywood Thai Restaurant. The food is tasty and moderately inexpensive. I love their shrimp salad with peanut sauce and their Thai egg rolls and spicy beef strips. My overall #1 favorite dish however is their Seafood soup! Very delicious! A+

Food is just simply good and nice staff

AMAZING authentic Thai. Great flavor, large portions, and REAL spice as requested. Fresh seafood. Drinks were okay (not a cocktail bar, but complemented the meal nicely). Large space, clean restrooms, friendly staff.

Great food, friendly service, parking free and awesome space. This place is going to go on my rotation of Thai spots. Food was very authentic. Not as spicy but can ask to adjust.

Food was ok, service was slow but we did have a large party. Valet parking is not free and street parking is not easily found. They do have a large liquor and wine selection. They have a TV for the games and live karaoke on Saturdays (played 80s music)

Lots of dirty dishes seating on empty tables. Abismal service messing up our orders and bringing the wrong dishes to our table. Cold food. We used to love this place but it became a disgusting joint. One can only imagine how the kitchen looks like if they don't even bother to clean their tables.

Food was great but service was terrible. We waited a very excessive amount of time to get our food after waiting a long time just to order. No explanation given and I would understand if they said the kitchen was short staffed or something because the restaurant wasn’t busy. Hence the 3 stars. 5/5 if you order takeout

I really enjoyed this place, the staff and service exceeded my expectations. The food is delicious. I highly recommend first timers to come and experience the food and service. Gem in the community that serves authentic Thai food. Newly created section of the restaurant is huge and modern with a large bar. Great for large groups, and dates too. Recommend coming with others to try as much different items. Known to be expensive but better quality place in the area.I really enjoyed the $16.95 mint seafood (only fish fillet version). The chae po Rice of 3 different meats over rice was a hit $14.95. And tourist items like pad see ew, curries, and Tim yum soup are always good choices too.

Food was amazing but they could use more service staff

Welp this was my first time here, the food was good but the service however was not that great. Literally sat here waiting for drink refill and the check for a good hour or more. Totally ignored by the staff, not sure if they are understaffed or what but this is ridiculous. Literally watched the place get filled with people and they've all eaten and left.

Thai food, very tasty. Dropped in on Tues. The service here is friendly. The bill was reasonable. They have a lot of great reviews for a reason.
